EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE





Todas estas piezas fueron construídas con este módulo. De izquierda a derecha: dodecaedro stellado (30 módulos), cuboctaedro stellado (?? módulos), cristales de 3, 4, y 5 módulos, e icosaedro construído con módulos de 2 paridades (5 módulos izquierdos y 5 derechos) 

All these pieces were built with this module. From left to right: stellated dodecahedron (30 modules), stellated cubeoctahedron (?? modules), 3, 4 and 5-module crystals and icosahedron built with double parity modules (5 left handed and 5 right handed)


Los pasos a seguir son: 

  1. Plegar el rectángulo por la mitad y llevar alas hacia el centro

  2. Queda así (como para un sonobe). Desplegar.

  3. Plegar esquina hasta que el vértice toque el pliegue (los puntos indicados en el paso 1). La flecha indica que hay que dejar un par de milímetros, para que el pliegue siguiente quede perfecto.

  4. Volver a plegar en valle hacia el centro.

  5. Dar vuelta. Como se indica desde el paso anterior, hay que doblar el sobrante al ras con el borde del papel y esconderlo entre las dos capas exteriores .

 

Steps to fold: 

  1. Valley fold at the center and valley fold halves to the center

  2. It looks like this (like the start of a sonobe). Unfold.

  3. Fold in angle so that the corner touches the previous fold (the points indicated in step 1). The arrow shows that 2 mm must be left to have room for the next fold. 

  4. Valley fold once more towards the center.

  5. Turn around. As indicated, the flap on top has to be folded flush with the edge of the paper and tucked in between the two external layers.

 

  1. Aqui se ve el sobrante plegado.

  2. Así queda al dar vuelta y meterlo entre las dos capas exteriores.

  3. Girar 180º y repetir los pasos con la otra mitad.

  4. Volver a plegar hacia el centro y doblar y esconder el 'sobrante'.

  5. El módulo terminado. .

  3. Turn 180º and repeat all the steps with the other half

  4. Valley fold once more towards the center, and fold flap and tuck inside.

  5. Finished module.

 

 

Para construir poliedros stellados, el centro debe plegarse en valle y las alas en monte.

For stellated polyhedra, valley fold center and mountain fold the other two triangles.

 

Para construir cristales y el icosaedro de doble paridad, los módulos deben plegarse como se indica (todos son pliegues en monte)

To build crystals and the double-parity icosahedron, make three mountain folds.

Una aleta amarilla en el rojo y una roja en el amarillo.
